Corduroy Tactile Anti Slip Bars

Our Stainless Steel Tactile Warning Strips take the form of a Corduroy Diamond cut bar made of 316 Stainless Steel; Polished finish. These strips provide an underfoot warning to identify hazards and dangerous areas where there are changes in levels or where there is an unprotected opening such as open stairwells, platforms, steps or ramps and in particular, for the visually impaired. The stainless steel material is ideal for high-traffic pedestrian areas. The slip resistant which is certified by UKAS (2021) design ensures the strip do not themselves become a hazard in wet or cold conditions. They can also be installed diagonally to deter skateboarders on low walls or raised flower beds. Prices are per strip carriage paid to the UK mainland excluding the Scottish Highlands and British Isles and the minimum order quantity is 3. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland or the EU.

How to Install Corduroy Studs

Drill 3No holes per bar 10-12mm diameter to a depth of 35mm then clear the dust away from the interior of the holes and surface to be covered by the head of the marker. Apply a small quantity of 2-pack epoxy adhesive into each of the holes and the surface area between the holes. Press the stud firmly until it is flush with the surface. Finally, remove any excess adhesive.
