Bowling Green Construction

As the designers and producers of the worlds largest range of pre-formed ditch channels, Sportsmark have decades of successful experince in flat bowling green construction. We construct new bowling greens, which may be seeded or turfed, from greenfield sites, or simply install new ditches or irrigation systems.

Artificial outdoor bowling greens are becoming increasingly popular. Sportsmark will install the Australian Promaster SuperCushion surface, which is probably the best tested surface in the world. Although UK grant conditions always specify a 10 year sinking fund, there are many greens over 15 years old in Australia that still bowl exceptionally well. Another advantage of the Promaster system is that it never needs re-stretching as many other systems do.
