Message Boards
Sportsmark Portable Solar Powered Variable Message boards are available for hire and for sale. An environmentally friendly way to improve road safety.
The signs are available in several sizes, as roof or trailer mounted, all with an optioonal speed detection function, although seperate smaller radar speed trailers are available.
All signs are approved to Highways Agency specification TR 2516B, and are manufactured to ISO9001-2000 and CE approved. They are also able to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without the need to change batteries, except perhaps once a month during the winter by our trained operatives.
Our comprehensive rental package includes delivery and collection of signs, full programming ( which can be changed remotely if required), and on-site technical back-up.
Each board is able to display up to 16 different messages up to 3 lines long at different times of day, or flash between messages. There is also a large library of graphics and arrows etc.which may be incorporated in any message sequence.
Standard Message Board (MB)
The Standard Message Board (MB) is the largest message board in the range, and is usually used for motorway work, where large character sizes are required, or at large outdoor events.

Life expectancy greater than 10 years.

Message Board 2 (MB2)
MB2 is a smaller message board with all the functionallity of the larger MB.
Display size 234cm x 137cm, Matrix size 27 x 48 pixels.
Pixel size 4.5 x 4.5cm
Up to 12 characters per line, up to 3 lines
Character Height 30.5cm to 96.5cm
Message Board 320 (MB320)
The MB320 has been specifically developed for term contractors who require flashing LED corner beacons. The total panel size is large, but the message size is similar to the MB2
Radar Speed Trailer (RST)
The RST is a small and highly versatile speed detection tool. It can display the speed limit and/or the drivers speed. Drivers speed display can be capped. Programming is both simple and fast.
