Made in B.S. Glass Reinforced Concrete, the 1.2m (4ft) long straight require fewer units per side. Both the straights and the corner units utilise the unique interlocking OGEE - M&F joint adding stiffness and stability to the frame surround. The top ledge is 70mm wide. Strengthened recesses at the rear add to the positive fixing process. Weight of unit is 42kg. The ditch channel is 300mm(12ins) wide. Rear face Wood and Jack protection is required. County Concrete
Sportsmark× designers produced this shape from the parameters that the "Laws" and the "firing game" have imposed. A solid concrete unit with internal reinforcing steel grid, it is 600mm long with a weight of 53kg each. The preformed concrete corner unit is 75kg. The top edge is 76mm wide and will allow protective material to be fitted and continue down the return (impact) face. Paving slabs have a support ridge at the rear 50cm down. The ditch channel is 300mm (12ins) wide. Bowls Bumper or Wooden battens can be fitted to this or the County GRC using the locator holes provided in each unit.
County AG
NEW for ’Artificial Greens‹ or ’Indoor‹ rink gulleys. Based on our successful Design 92 (over 100 sets) in B.S. Concrete over a steel reinforcing grid, it has been modified to allow the leading edge to butt up against the artificial green table or the ends of anindoor green. The unit is 610mm long, the footprint is increased to 275mm and weight is 49kg. Impact protection material is required for rear face.
Club GRC
A standard green requiresonly 38 units of our 1-metre longstraight in BS Glass ReinforcedConcrete, a time saving forContractors and Installers. A tongue and groove system ensures alignment when installing. Minor adjustments in length are achieved with a disc cutter.Pre-formed corners complete theframe. Impact protection material or Bowls Bumpers are required for the rear face. Unit weight 27kg.
Club Concrete
The third design fromSportsmark÷ in 1992 incorporated improvements to assist in the continuity of the game. Over 100 sets have been sold of this concrete unit incorporating a steel reinforcing grid and although itonly has a 225mm gulley many clubs still order them to refurbish their green surrounds. 610mm long, this 54kg unit has a higher back than the minimum and incorporates a rounded angledgreen edge supporting the turf.
Concrete Add-On
Those greens that had lowprofile channels need to ensure the difference in levels of green and bank conform to the Law. This specially profiled, steel grid reinforced, concrete slab fitsover most known units. Attached with "Concrete super-glue" which adheres with a stronger bond than the original concrete. Rear face protection required and recommended to cover the joint between the two units. Benefits are: no loss of playing time, fitted any time of year and green not disturbed. Unit Weight 35kg.
